Premier Accredited Center program is to provide a process of evaluation that recognizes that a center’s program meets basic standards for health and safety and so promotes the well-being of all participants and equine. While being a Premier Accredited Center is an achievement, the strength of our program is in our unique horsemanship and programming. |

The Equibloom Method is what remains of Equibloom Therapeutic Riding (2005-2014), the business name before non-profit organization and Hoofbeats Academy. Equibloom TR was created as a result of our founder's experiences as a volunteer, instructor and herd manager in other programs and centers. All centers are doing work that benefits humans who interact with horses. No matter the method the horses still work their magic. Working magic is stressful. Equine "burnout" is prevalent in our industry. Our industry owes the horse more. The Equibloom Method is more and is designed to protect the horse's nature and enhance confidence by:
Our feed is farm formulated to meet each individual need. We use NON-GMO feeds. Our horses are all soundly barefoot, cared for by a British Certified Natural Balance Farrier. Our horses enjoy excellent vet care and specialized services (Quantum Massage is amazing!) to keep them feeling good. They have all-weather shelter, acres of green grass and a work schedule they look forward too. The horses' work is VERY ROUTINE! They know exactly what we are all up to all of the time. Work is parceled in 15-20 minute activities. The expectation is well within ability and obedience is rewarding and fun for our horses. They love their work. No burnout in this stable. Our horses thrive in their work because they are understood. Each horse is unique but all do best within a hierarchy where they are secure in their position. Through development of a real and trusting relationship with their human co-workers, the horses are eager to trust, understanding their human "boss mare" and knowing all is well. Our staff is very small and intimate, for a reason. |
MOUNTessori is a horsemanship learning environment where the student is free to explore and experience with maximum independence. Students choose. Faculty respond. The environment is designed to entice, motivate and stimulate.
Students develop their own lesson experience. The MOUNTessori Faculty work with one student at a time providing learning materials for the needs and interests of that student. They advise, present a lesson or observe quietly. In this way, students work at their own pace in a peaceful environment.
